Born in the Hebrides and based in Fort William, Hamish is an experienced lighting cameraman and director with experience filming a wide range of projects, both domestically and internationally.

Specialising in filming in hostile and mountainous environments, Hamish has filmed athletes in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco, among the peaks of Artic Norway and battling Scottish weather.

No less comfortable operating in a conventional documentary setting, he has worked extensively on programmes examining a diverse variety of subjects. 

 
 

With a keen eye for storytelling and extensive broadcast experience, Hamish has produced, shot and directed work for clients all over Scotland.
